Tim Keller at UC Berkeley

Hey Everyone-

Tim Keller has written a very important book for those who minister in nonChristian or postChristian cultures. He did a long lecture and Q & A at UC Berkeley.

Some genius stuff here. Now, I don't agree with everything Dr. Keller says. But his wisdom and approach are unique and important.

-a textbook that is simply deep

2. The Preacher's Portrait by John Stott
- 115 pages that is blowing my mind
- exploring the preacher as steward, herald, etc.

3. Knowing God by JI Packer
- the first book I read after I got saved
- deep, insightful, and riveting

4. The Resurrection of the Son of God by NT Wright
- a thick pill

5. Just Added - The Reason for God by Tim Keller
- only 2 chapters in but a very important book for folks living and ministering in non/post Christian contexts

New Church Planting Articles - Lots Happening

Hey Everyone-

It's been 2 months since I posted last. I know, I'm a bad blogger.

The Lord is doing amazing things here in Mill Valley. We had 100 adults in church on Sunday. We then had a baptism and BBQ and folks were baptized and we did a lot of eating.

I just posted 2 new articles on tbe church planting website.
